Join us for the Quo Vadis Discernment Retreat from 4pm on Friday, July 31 through 10am on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Camp Miakonda, hosted by the Office of Priestly Vocations of the Diocese of Toledo. (Quo Vadis means, "Where are you going"?) This retreat opportunity is designed for high school guys seeking to explore their faith and future.

Men's Discernment Retreat
This day of reflection is an opportunity for Catholic men, ages 14 to 35, who are open to considering a call to the priesthood or religious life. This day of reflection is an opportunity to learn practical methods of prayer and discernment that will help them better understand God’s plan for their life.
WHERE: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615)
WHEN: The retreat will begin with check-in at 9:00am on Saturday, March 7 and will end at 3pm. Optional 4pm Mass to close out the day.
COST: $20, payable upon arrival to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

Seminary Visit
College age and young adult men….
Join Fr. Peter Grodi and young men from around the Diocese for a three-day visit to Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit to see what it is like to live the life of a seminarian studying for the priesthood. We will depart together from St. Thomas More Parish (425 Thurstin St., Bowling Green, OH 43402) on Nov 6th at 5pm and return by 2pm on November 8th.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Prayer - Join the seminarians for their normal schedule of prayer
Class - Get a taste of a normal day of study for a seminarian.
Socialize - Eat, hangout, and play with the seminarians.

Walk for Vocations
Msgr. Tad Oxley, Fr. David Kidd, and Fr. Joseph Mominee will be walking 65+ miles over the course of four days in prayer and sacrifice for an increase in vocations to the Diocesan priesthood.

Priesthood Ordination
Bishop Thomas is also happy to announce that he has called, Deacon Travis Kahle, Deacon Eric Kaufman, and Deacon Kevin McGraw, to the order of presbyter.
They will be ordained priests for the Diocese of Toledo at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, on Saturday, May 24th at 10 am.
All are invited to kindly pray for these men in preparation for their ordinations and attend the ordination ceremonies at our Cathedral.
Transitional Deacon Ordination
Bishop Daniel E. Thomas is happy to announce that he has called, Andrew Messer, to the order of deacon.
Andrew will be ordained a transitional deacon for the Diocese of Toledo at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, on Saturday, May 17th at 10 am.
